Title: nebraska update

we are headed home. final score my cousin 1 mature bird and dad 1 jake and i took 2 mature birds.
the only 2 days with decent weather we called up 2 of the mature birds. first one i killed i ambushed the crap out of him. yesterday when i killed my second bird i heard 4 birds gobbling and called in 1 to the gun and 2 others didnt come in close enough. pic and full story coming soon.

Alright!   :groupwave:  That sounds like a good trip even with the nasty weather.  I thought from your initial post on the other thread that you ended up skunked due to the weather.  Glad you left the three out of four.......umm..... I mean.....Too bad you didn't bring in more of the four.  ;D

I need some of that good weather over Memorial Day weeken.  Isaac and I ambushed a double at noon last year during crazy wind out of five toms that were grouped together.  They had no interest in calling at that time and the sneak was pure luck...........but we took it and were happy.

I'm looking forward to those pics.
