I just watched a video on MoJo's scoot n shoot. I was amazed at how close the hunters got to the gobblers. Have any of you tried this? If so, will it work on birds that hang up out of shooting range? Having previously made a gobbler decoy from a five-gallon black bucket with added wings, fan, etc. and then taken two toms as a result, I'm always looking for another method to hunt these magnificent birds! Thanks for you input.

Well placed turkey callers have worked very well for a long time.  That is the "gimmick" that I use.
"[T]he changing environment will someday be totally and irrevocably unsuitable for the wild turkey.  Unless mankind precedes the birds in extinction, we probably will not be hunting turkeys for too much longer."  Ken Morgan, "Turkey Hunting, A One Man Game

What Silvestris said, just another gimmick to cheapen the experience and dumb down the sport for the masses.  I think it may work, but I think you will get shot if you use it enough times.
