How to post pic

Will someone please explain to me how to post a picture on this site? I keep getting an error message that the file is to large. I tried to resize picture but I came away with the same out come. Thanks for the help!

There should be a box that says upload photos. Click that and there should be another box that comes up giving you a couple of options...drag photos here or upload from your computer. I click the one for my comp. The normal box will come up ...docum, downloads , etc....open the one where your photo is . Click on your pic and click on open. When it finishes downloading, go to your library. On the left hand side of your pic you will see what looks like a tiny list, click on it. 4 or 5 options will appear. Click on the one that says image. Start your post and right click in the post box, select paste and there it is.
