When checking trail cams last week this one was found dislodged from it it's case.
Seems a bear's curiosity got the better of him and he had to see what this was and what it tasted like.
He bit a hole clean thru the camera - bottom left corner of the pic. The camera lay on the ground face-up for 4 days with at least an inch of rain falling on it before we found it.
Not being able to get it to power up I made plans to send it back to the manufacturer, Spypoint, to see if it was worth repairing. Before packaging it up we decided to check it one more time and IT WORKED!!!
After several picture taking tests it seems to be working just fine. I did order a "bear box" to put it in before we set it out again.

I'd say that's a good trail cam!

I've had that happen to one of mine I'm told that bear can hear the clicking of the camera and are looking for the clicking noise possibly a mouse.

I think I gave about $150 for this one 2 years ago. Taken about 10,000 pics with it so far
