Mississippi opening day

Zip, zero nada. No gobbles, no turkeys sounds of any kind, no sightings, no feathers, no tracks, no poop. Still had fun with my grandson. I did catch a grinnel with my bare hands from a tiny trickling ditch draining a slough. So we had that going for us.
How did my other Magnolia brothers fare today?

A buddy had a couple gobble yesterday, but they stayed in one spot and never came to their calling.
I didn't hear anything but a line hen.
I bet the next two days will stir them up
