Pot Calls Forum / Removing a slate surfaceLast post by Jamoose - May 17, 2024, 10:20:40 PMHey all, I have an old slate with a wood pot that's a good friend. A few years back the slate popped out and glued it back (forget what I used). Since then it became a lot more high pitched and touchy. Seems like it lost some vibration. I'd like to get the slate out without breaking it, clean it up and replace with better glue (I understand that goop is the stuff). Any ideas how to get the slate out? Heat the surface to breakdown the glue? Pour solvents in from the bottom? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

2024 Killer B's / Re: Tick tock!Last post by Mossyguy - May 17, 2024, 09:40:32 PMI'd say we definitely lucked out with the members of this team. I've been busy with end of the year stuff at school and haven't checked in as much lately but we have had some great success this year. Hopefully we can keep this team together for years to come!

General Forum / Re: The wingbone conundrumLast post by birdman24 - May 17, 2024, 09:25:56 PMI've always carried mine in the pot/striker pocket of my vest. I was initially worried it would get broken, but I've done it for at least a dozen seasons without problems. I've got too much other stuff around my neck.
