Hi mates, quick recap of my spring season.
4 Days in Ontario got me two toms.  First one on a blind on a open field with a hen decoy and a pot call.

Second one, like a deer hunt.  Knowing the travelling pattern, i waited for the flock on the edge of a corn field.

Last bird is from Québec, this was an cool hunt.  Something scared the turkeys in the field, and the tom flew at my back in a tall tree.  I wont shoot a bird on a roost early morning. But this one was on the ground nearly 2 hours before it roost again to escape from something out there.  So i shot him and he landed in a creek and got soaked.
It was my best bird this spring.

So im done for this year.  Im happy with the season and the great time i spent chasing those magnificent birds.
