Set in my red dot on the new beretta. These were the results. Pattern at a lasered 40 yards:

I agree. Those apex tss loads are stone cold killers. The federals throw a very nice, even pattern but it is more spread out and wider overall. If I only hunted in the woods that's actually the load I would hunt. But I also hunt several large fields where the tighter pattern is a big help. I'd like to pattern the new hevi 18 as well. But 10-12 bucks a shell puts a bit of a damper on the pattern testing
