Pretty brown for African Blackwood, guess it could be though....I have built guitars with Tasmanian Blackwood that has this color profile....Tasmanian Blackwood is a cousin to the Koa tree, but quite a bit more dense and has a very musical tone.....just a wild guess though.

I appreciate it fellas. It came in one of Whitt's tubes with his picture on it. On the back of the picture it has African Blackwood with Buffalo MP. But since I didn't get it from Whit I don't know if this was the original call, most likely is. Greg when you gets some calls fixed up I would love to see them

Not mine.
The last trumpet I bought from Whitt was in 2015, and and was rosewood with ivory if I remember correctly.
