Title: Anybody had a trigger job done on an H&R single barrel?
Post by: deadbuck on July 19, 2013, 12:30:02 PM
Who do you recommend and about what is the cost? I just got Sumtoy to drill/tap my old 32 inch barrel and when I mounted a scope on it and dry fired it a few times I realized how crappy the trigger is.

Deadbuck; Go to Graybeardoutdoors on the H&R forum. You might have to go to the helps section under H&R rifles. They got a lot of information about doing trigger work on rifles and shotguns. Its a great forum. You might find somebody on it that will do it for you. Just have to ask.     cluck

I've done several and it is primarily a job of smoothing and polishing the action.  I can usually get a crisp 21/2-3 lb. trigger pull w/ no creep.
