Title: nova and hevi 7s

3.5in 7s got 205 @40yds. prob woulda had 300 if pattern moved a little to the left. 140 with fiocchi 6s not to bad and good outer pattern but didnt count that. shooting .658 compnchoke. guessin i should open it up a bit?? gun is filthy btw

Did you count the pellets in a 10" circle after you shot?  Or , did you draw a circle then shoot?  Should have been after you shot, circle the densist part of your pattern, then count.

sounds like if you adjust your sites a little your are good to go. 300 is about what most people are getting with those shells.

just shot a pre drawn 10in paper target. now curious what the count was in the densist part. still have the target may hafta check that later

If it helps, I'm averaging 250 in 10" with my 26" barrel Nova and JH .655 setup.

did a re-count with poi being my center, 336  in 10" w 26" nova/compnchoke/7s. THanks for all the input and guess Im going to be happy with that as long as my compnchoke can handle the abuse. Pretty satisfied and never thought i would be shooting number  7s, hope they pack a punch down range.
