Title: help with my mossy 835

i have a ic .675 choke on my mossy 835 . what shells to buy ? hevi shot 3" 6 shot 2oz.  ? or different

3.5 inch 2.25 oz hevi # 6's or #7's.  make sure you also polish your barrel or at least do a deep cleaning.

:agreed:  I have also had GREAT luck with the winchester Xtended Range 3.5" #6's with the same set up as you.

I have a 935 and IC, and i bought 3" mag blend and 3' Hevi 7's.  But I'm certainly no expert.  I have seen some patterns were the 3 1/2 had more shot in the pattern but the 3' were more even, plus I am not convinced I need to endure the 3 1/2 when it's probably not needed.

i no what u mean.. the 3" shell allreadyt kicks like a mule.. maybe a elephant ?
i got some hevi 6 shot. maybe i will get the 7 shot next week.

Takes the elephant out of that kick.

ok.. i see they are like 34 bucks. do they really work like they say ?

Yes, i would gladly pay twice that......

Just make sure you buy the direct replacement pad and not the slip on.  they dont work quite as good IMO

YES they are worth it....it made my 835 a VERY smooth shooter.

i see the custom fit ones. they have a   Recoil Pad-Moss All 4 7/8" Synthetic and a 5 3/16 one. dont no which one i need. mine is  a all black synthetic stock though

Should be the 5 3/16 precision fit....model #10201 (from Website)

Great advice... A limsaver slip-on tamed a 10 gauge single shot today for a friend of mine. I gladly gifted it to him so that I didn't have to shoot it without one.... lol

ok..thaks. will be ordering one soon. wonder why they have 2 sizes for the moss, 835 ?  maybe wood or synthetic stocks ?

Yes, it's the same with the mossy 500s. There is a list on the limbsaver site that should tell you which you need for synthetic/wood.
