Grandpa's gun.
My Grandfather bought this 1875 Remington and Son's "Lifter" Double Barrel 10 gauge during The Great Depression for $5. He, My Dad and my Uncles all carried this gun as they grew up. When Dad got too old to hunt he gave it to me. I ordered some low pressure shells from RST ammo and took a turkey with it. Dad was sure proud. First bird I've ever shot that didn't flop. Amazing what #5 lead can do from a low pressure 2 7/8" 10 gauge shell. :TooFunny:

Now that is a cool old turkey gun, congratulations on the bird.
That really cool to have that family history with the gun. Congratulations.
Amazing shape that gun is in, and excellent that's it's still being used the way it was meant to be.
