Thanks guys, I just changed to a smaller opening lip stop which I think gives more sound control.

Sharp looking tube calls!
Those are some great looking tube calls!
What's the difference between the larger and smaller tubes?
All are 7/8 inside diameter length 1.75 to 2.25" just preference on who plays them

In general the length and diameter of the tube are about personal preference. The length and diameter of the tube aren't as important as latex tension.
Set tension tight for a higher pitch and looser for a raspier sound. These are things you will find out by experimenting.

Ah, makes sense.
