There's an original post about the boss tom shells that I just posted some pics on today. Weather turned out to be 40 and sunny. Probably needs to be choked down a little more than .565
I might try it with the SSX .550 on Monday

Next time I'm out, I will put some through the .550 just to see what they will do and show you guys. They are definitely quality loads, just need to find the tube they like.

Shot boss tom and hevi #6 today through the .550 SSX using 870 21". 45 F, sunny, 13 mph winds (shot when wind was down). Patterns were not good.
At 40 yards, boss tom did 48 in 10" and 120 in 20"
Hevi did 59 in 10" and 155 in 20"
Both shots would have likely been dead birds but again for the price of either shell, this combo isn't worth it. I'm near those numbers with #5 lead.. Im thinking that the boss might like a choke around .570-.575

Here's 40 yards with same gun but using trulock .565 just for comparison

Thanks for the review.
3"x5, 1.5oz Bismuth, BOSS SHOTSHELLS, 20 & 30 yds. 20 yd shot with a REMCHOKE VENTILATOR out of a 11-87, 26" barrel, and the 30 yd shot with a Revelation by Savage, 21" barrel with a Basners.
I hope to check these with my .670 tube later. The factory full tubes that were recommended by the mfg gave the worst patterns... :camohat:
