Cody Woodsman Slate. It's very old and has been the demise of many gobblers. They seem to love the sound. It is the first pot call in my vest every year. Never hunt without it.

I picked this up the other day. Not sure how it would compare to the Woodsman.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210720/b12837162a1f0cc20b722b9bcf451da2.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210720/0862e6847ccaa656e432ae6a9ad9b4de.jpg)

Primos Lil Deuce mini pot can sing pretty good.

Pat Strawser used to make a production call in an Epley plastic molded pot that is very strong too. He told me not too long ago that he may have some more some day, in our conversation about the call he said "That's an Epley plastic pot. That's probably the best plastic pot ever made."

My pick, Cody Spec 1 Slate. Started out as a production call numbered, became so popular, they began to get hard to get. Still are.....one of my go-to's.

I know. I have a problem. May sell some of them to finance my trumpet problem. Lol

These were my first 3 production calls, the Mad Super Crystal is by far my favorite and it was also my first. I picked up the Quaker Boy Tryfecta at the NY state NWTF meeting back in 98 The Slate is also a Quaker Boy. Those were all the calls I had when I first got here other than a Wingbone that I also got at the NWTF even as well as a scratchbox that I no longer have the striker for, now I have around 100 calls I would guess.
