Went to pattern my m1 Benelli with federal tss 9 out of Carlson .665 and it patterned good about 350 in 10" but wasn't very consistent. Once I got it hitting good at 40 I wen to 30 or so to try it and shot way off....
Shot 8 tss and still not satisfied. Any suggestions? Diff shell maybe.
Did you clean the barrel after each shot. I run a bore snake through after every shot. Keeps patterns consistent....
Is your choke tight?

no and no.. didnt figure shotguns were quite this picky! Frustrating for sure.
