 I got up at before daylight this morn and went to one of my spots.
Anyway I just wanted to listen and after the sun came up I heard some fly downs cackles and a little while later some gobbles.

Then after some time I saw 21 hens and 2 Gobblers. Using my binoculars I was able to watch the morning unfold . both gobblers were in full strut.
  Putting on a show.
Because of the distance I couldn't hear drumming, but I watched one of them do the wing drag and what I think was drumming movements.
Then one of the hens laid down in front of one of the toms and he started circling her. like he was protecting his prize until the other tom moved away.
  Then they did their thing. 
This is the first time Ive ever saw a breed. Took 8-10 mins and he was done.
Petty cool morn. Got me pumped!!!

Been seeing lots of strutters around here but still in big groups with younger birds and hens saw one the other day who had spurs well over an inch. Shouldn't be long until they are splitting up. Too bad season isn't until April 29

[Spring Creek Calls]

Had 2 strutters behind the house Monday. There was a little snow but it sure didn't bother them or the 3 Hens. SW Michigan.

They must be done in south FL - not one gobble heard in past three mornings.

Saw a few fans and birds moving around, but zero putts, yelps, or gobbles.
