Anyone have any pros or cons for Claw Slings? I'll be using it on an 835...if that matters.
Got one. Checks all the boxes for a sling.
I love mine. Really no cons,

I've tried a ton of slings and the claw sling is my favorite. I also tote an 835 all over the place with it
I have the contour (x2) and slimline. Love them. Best I've ever had for gripping the shoulder / easy adjust / etc.

Agree, and all my slings are being upgraded to the Claw this year.
Love mine, no complaints
You will throw the claw slings away if you try one..Just my opinion

I have one on my deer rifle and my 870 turkey gun. If you do much walking or hiking they're pretty great, IMO. They really lock in on your pack straps and making hiking the hills a lot more comfortable.
So far only one negative about the claw on this post LOL. I really like mine for my shotguns and rifles. I have not found my claw really helpful as a shooting aid and for that I use a leather military sling. I do a lot of off hand shooting.
But for a tough sling the claw is first class. Once shot a nice deer and did not want to leave it unattended so wrapped my claw around his horns and pulled him about 300 yards to the truck. Still using that sling today did not hurt it one iota.
Love the claw

I've been meaning to order one of these.
I only recently bought a Claw sling. All I can say is that I wish I had bought one years ago. I plan to swap it out with every gun I take to the woods. I can't see me using any other sling at this point.
I started using a claw on my turkey guns, and now use them on my deer rifles as well. They hold on and will not slide off.
Bought one last spring, where have these things been all my life! Own half a dozen now....
I use one. Love it
I have them on quite a few of my guns I hunt regularly with and like them alot.
Every shotgun or long rifle I own also crossbow has the claw on them. Great slings.
Plus 1 for the slogan outdoors slings. Nothing better. Grippy as the claw and more shock absorption. Awesome product.

I only run claw slings. I own 4 of them. 3 black and one bottomland. Mostly for use on my rifles. I don't run sling on my turkey gun typically. they grip well, no sliding around.
Slimline is the best , just make sure you get it with the quick attachments .. not those old screw type ...swivels
The only con with the claw sling are the camo ones. They look good for a while, then all the camo film blisters and peels off. Knowing this now, I don't buy the camo ones anymore.

I've had mine a long time. At least five years and have not experienced any peeling. Perhaps later models were improved?
WV Ridge Reaper, just bought one of these at the NWTF
Very nice sling got one on my 835 another on a muzzy. Cannot go wrong.
I've had the claw. I got limbsaver kodiak "air" I like better than the claw

I've used the claw slings the past several seasons, but this year I bought a slogan outdoors sling. That's the one that will be on my gun. Grippiest sling I've ever felt, and the option to pull one strap over your shoulder and backpack the gun is awesome. I'll be buying more of them for my rifles and duck gun.

I bought my first one years ago soon after they were introduced to the market. I think they are the best on the market for carrying your firearm. Never slips. I now own six of them! Four original versions in various colors and two narrower versions. Great product.
No issues with any of mine.
Love mine. No issues here.
I've used my brothers slogan sling and it is awesome. When I'm wearing my Kifaru it's hard to keep other slings on my shoulder on top of the backpack strap. That slogan is grippy!

Love my claw slings. Have one on every firearm I own.

Pulled the trigger on the Magnum sling looking forward to trying it.
The backpack ability sold it for me.

I own maybe half a dozen slogan slings. You do NOT need the magnum sling. It's very heavy duty and not as handy as the regular size. I carried an 11lb magnum rifle all over hells half acre in Africa with just the regular sling. I tried to buy the magnum and Slogans owner talked me out of it. It was good advice. When I finally saw a magnum sling in person I realized it's way overkill.
Seriously, I would change your order.
Their slings start a little stiff and soften a great deal as the rubber starts to stretch and wear in a bit. The grippiness never changes and the backpack functionality is great.
Have it on about 6 guns and my crossbow. Usually try to keep a spare laying around.
The Claws are great, all of my hunting guns have been upgraded.
