On this day 3 years ago at 4am, I was forced to take a life in order save a life. And ours too. Had shoot a bad guy off of the Deputy, Bad Guy had him down and was ripping Deputy's gun from his holster. At that time I was 29 year LEO veteran.

Bad Guy, turns his head looks at me and smiled, and kept trying to snatch/rip gun from holster.
1st shot pelvic shot, 27 yards
He screams and kind of lays over. I advance to 7 yards and Bag Guy stands up still tearing at the gun. Had to shoot certer mass on 2nd shot.
Bad Guy had bluest eyes I had ever seen. And I watched them slowly Dim.
Very haunting. Later found out Bad Guy was jacked up on Methamphetamine.
