Title: Hand Injury
Post by: allaboutshooting on August 12, 2017, 11:16:59 AM
Please excuse me if I do not reply to a post or if my reply is short. I have injured my forearm, tendons, nerves and it has  caused me to have great difficulty in using my right hand and fingers. I am limited to "hunt & peck" with my right hand. Hopefully see the doc next week and figure out what to do.

Thanks,
Clark

Heck Clark, you can still type a better post with one hand than most of us can with two!  Hope you get healed up and feeling better soon.

I'd like to thank you all for the emails, the prayers and the good wishes. I visit the doctor tomorrow for another evaluation and hopefully some remedy. The good news is that I can still shoot. I don't seem to have lost grip strength but I must stretch my fingers and wrist several times each day to keep my fingers and thumb from closing.

Thanks again,
Clark

Thank you all for the thoughts and the prayers. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to report. I will revisit a therapist soon to be fitted with a brace for the fingers and to make sure that I'm performing some stretches properly. I'll also revisit the hand surgeon for another evaluation. I appreciate the thoughts and prayers.

Thanks,
Clark
