Title: Alvin Taylor Tribute Call
Post by: pappy on December 27, 2016, 09:05:02 PM
As some of you may know I have been making duck calls for 20 years, so many over time. I like to make what i call TRIBUTE calls once in a while. I made this one to honor a great call maker Alvin Taylor out of Arkansas. It is like one of his all aluminum duck calls, I think he has planned on making 7 total and I have only seen 2 .... and I can see why...this joker was a pain to make and to tune. But I love it just the same. i have made calls honoring M.L. Lynch and Mark Weedman and others....just a way to say thank you for their time and expertise in the field. This call is 4-1/2' in length...here is a site where one sold in 2014....https://new.liveauctioneers.com/item/10678778
