Those are some amazing pics. Never knew that rattlers got that dark. Some of those are almost all black! "Look mom a black snake... no they aren't poisonous..." ::)

I'm not afraid of snakes but I don't play with them. If they go their way I'll go mine. Anyway, great pics!

I hate snakes!
Nice pictures. I hate snakes!!! Looks like target practice :z-guntootsmiley:
Cool pics , wouldn't want to be on the business end of any of them .
what area in pa did you find them
And my wife wonders why I wear snake boots when hunting here in NY and PA.....
Those pics are way too close! I hate snakes
Becareful what you do with PA rattlesnakes....
I know for a fact that they are putting chips in them to locate their travel patterns.
Kill every one of them SOB!
Nice Timber rattlers
I would not want to run up on them in the woods. Only good thing is the rattlers will normally let you know they are there before you get to them.
These pics aren't making me look forward to working our hunt club property this summer. We have lots of snakes ... rattlers, copperheads and cotton mouths especially. Snake boots are a must everywhere on our lease. The owners did a controlled burn over the winter to open up a lot of the woods and get rid of the thick crap so hopefully that got rid of a lot of them.
