Title: Choke recommendations for 12 gauge Remington 1187 with TSS#9
Post by: Dubie on February 17, 2022, 09:04:20 AM
Looking for a choke recommendation for my rem 1187 using TSS #9. I'm shooting a 12 gauge.
Indian creek, jebs, Carlson?

I'd like range and a good pattern. I would like the ability if needed to reach out to 50 yds, but definitely not the normal shot.

What can y'all recommend?

Never tried Sumtoy. But do know Indian Creek .665 work well in Remington 12's.

Also following.  Seeing trulock recommends .640 but see as large as .670 in other brands.

SumToy .660 Hot core or .665 even pattern. I love my SumToy chokes.

I had a Hevi-13 choke for my 11-87 and tried it before buying another choke. It does a great job with TSS. I believe it's a .662
