Got this little hunting class scratch box from Eric earlier this week. Alaskan yellow cedar wenge accents and just a little of his famous wood burning. Came in a nice bag with a separate little bag for chalk also was surprised when the striker snapped into position on top the box with the pull from an embedded earth magnet.
Keeping the striker handy and not lost is 72% of the battle with these calls in the bottom of a vest pocket so I thought that was a very nice touch. Sounds great with the matching striker as well as wenge and walnut ones I have.

I picked up a all red cedar scratchox from Eric at the Unicio show its unique call for sure, I really like that magnetic striker design.
Eric is an incredibly talented guy. Everything he makes is cool, very artistic and unique and he's a heck of a nice guy.
Not sure how many years he and Mike Lapp won the collaboration, but here is this year's winner:
