Title: Rhino choke tubes
Post by: edward.penny on April 07, 2019, 05:59:41 PM
Does anyone here shoot one? I have heard good things but have never shot one but have a new gun that I need to choke. Might be needing to get one. Please post pics of patterns and kills if you have any. Thanks

Whatgun do you have?  I have one for my Benelli sbe2 and its just ok.  Ive had just as good results with my dead coyote choke shooting hevi 6's and that choke is a lot cheaper.

I have a Mossberg 930 I'm thinking about one for.

I would look around here a bit more for other options. Indian Creek makes great chokes as well and have a good reputation with Mossbergs. May even be cheaper as well.

I used to shoot one out of my SX2 back when I shot nitro because nitro recommended them it was good

Go down the forum to last may and you'll see my SBE 2 post with the Rhino .660. Best choke I've ever had. Generally 450 to 500 with nitro tss. Hevi 13 7s 340ish, Longbeard 6s 240-270s. However I wouldn't get stuck on getting a rhino Indian creek's pattern every bit as good
