Title: Meadow Creek Torque?
Post by: Ridge Rooster on April 16, 2021, 09:33:19 PM
Mounted one today and 10 inch lbs seemed to work. Was worried if I went more it might strip. Held up to 6 rounds of 10GA so far. Anybody know what recommended torque is?

For a Burris FF, the recommended torque is 20-25 for the base to the receiver and 12 for the sight to the base.  I would assume that 12 would be applicable to the meadow creek as well, for all the screws.

Talked to rep from Meadow Creek, he said 12 inch lbs. He said a bent bottom plate will not hurt a thing, didn't figure it would mount is holding up great.

I got a little bend in mine to.  I have had no problem with it.  Very happy with the install and performance.  Was able to ta=g a nice bird on our opening day with that mount paired with a Holosun 507.

I just put mine together today with a AT3 ARO. Super excited about it.
