Title: Wrapped up the season in Fl
Post by: g8rvet on April 26, 2020, 07:38:11 PM
Not with a final day kill, but the season ended today.  Had a crazy fun season-several firsts for my bunch and we had plenty of killing.  I was more happy to watch my son and nephew kill one than if I had killed one anyways (they are both grown).

*called one across a river on opening day
*nephews first muzzleloader kill (my gun borrowed, he has now bought one!)
*son killed his first with muzzleloader (my gun too)
*brother ended his dry spell with an afternoon bird

Was in on plenty of action and got to see the spring woods.  Can't ask for any better.

Y'all have fun and keep at it.

It is now furniture building and fishing season.

Muzzleloader shotgun or rifle? Never killed a bird with either just curious.

Congrats on a great season! Mine was a tough one, seen several hens just wasn't able to put a beard on anyone and didn't work a single gobbler not a single response to a call.
