I completed this Desert Ironwood today, 2nd of 3 Ironwood trumpets I was turning this week. I really love this wood, beautiful, behaves pretty well on the lathe, and has a great sound to it.....

Turns out, this trumpet was for me. Received it today. Beautiful and sounds great! Greg makes a fine trumpet, he's easy to order from, and communication was great. Nice to meet you Greg, and thank you for the trumpet.

Thank you sir.... and thanks to all of the other comments, appreciate them. I have some Desert Ironwood burl that I may get to turn this weekend, really looking forward to seeing what nature has hiding inside these blanks.
