Thanks... I haven't killed any turkeys with anything but a 12 gauge but I'm pretty excited to be trying this 20 gauge out this year with this pattern
What load was that with?
Federal 3" TSS #9 shot
What was the recoil like ?
I shot it off a lead sled so I couldn't really tell you how much it kicked... I'll have to let you know after I shoot my turkey this year :)
Does that Indian creep shoot true poa with beads on gun?
My gun does not shoot poa with regular beads. I am using a Burris ff3 to make sure I have poa.
How does that set up pattern at 20ish yards? Just curious how tight the pattern is with tss 9's and .555 choke
good to go
Unfortunately I did not pattern at 20 yd with the TSS after my 40 yard shot with the TSS. My 20 yard shots were with #8 low brass when I was sighting in the fast fire 3 and it seemed like a reasonable pattern at 20 yard
I have this same set up but have not tried the Fed TSS yet but can't wait. Will post pics when I do.That is a great pattern.
Salty! Aim tight up close.
I've got the exact same setup (same gun, same choke), shooting same ammo and my pattern at 40 was not nearly as dense. Strange how two guns with same setup are so different.
Left is OP's at 40. Right is mine.
