Title: 835/stardot/ new lot 3.5-2-6 longbeards
Post by: reflexl on March 18, 2017, 06:20:26 PM
Some of you may have seen the post where shot one of these through a cylinder bore and the resin surrounding the shot never broke. I cut one of those shells open and where you can normally break the shot with your fingers it required channel locks. the patterns were unreal but had holes in them with no shot. I have shells now from two lot numbers that differ from those first shells. The first picture is a shot capsule from the first lot. If you have cut them up you know that this is far to transparent and shiny.

This photo shows a target where there was no choke constriction on the shot.

This photo is one of the original patterns from the first lot.

Yes that center is awesome but the big hole wasn't.

This is from one of the new lots. Even and devastating. There are 40 killing pellets in the neck and head.

I will take a nice dense even pattern any day over a clump with holes in it.
