I found sone Maple Burl in my stash. Here are the end results.

The first one is Maple and Mahogany

The second one is Maple and Purple Heart.

The third is Maple and Cocobolo.

All three have Butternut sound boards..

Those are some beauties there. My Purple Heart and butternut combo by Lonnie is awesome.

I am sure these beauties sound as well as they look. Lonnie makes great sounding calls.

I have had the pleasure to listen to him play his scratch boxes in the woods. Made me want to strutt.
Dang coyote mucked up a good hunt. He won't be doing that again.
