Title: Which constriction?
Post by: Herschel34 on May 09, 2020, 02:29:32 PM
Looking at buying a Sumtoy choke for my Browning BPS 20ga. I'm thinking of going 562 or 570. What do you think? I'm not looking to kill turkeys at 60 yds, and only killed a few over 45 yards. The majority are definitely under 40yards. Thanks

I use a 562 for that length. Have one that is 26" but have to use a 585 with it.

Give him a call and he'll hook you up with what you need.

William will steer ya right. Something to consider before calling him would be what load are you interested in using and do you like a tight, hot core or an even and widely distributed pattern? Typically a shorter barrel will prefer a tighter constriction. I agree that the .562 would be optimal, but take into account your shot ranges and load to be used. Great hunting to ya!
