Yeah I'm counting down too. Just a month away. I need something to occupy my mind in the meantime

Could be worse, you could have a 2 month wait like me.
Almost booked tickets to Texas to try for some Rios. Maybe next year...
I've got one more month. I've been talking to the guy that is letting us hunt private and he has to be with us so I'm working on setting up a day to go out with him.
I've got 44 days left, I can't wait!

Man I'm a little concerned...I headed down to the coast last week to do some scouting on 1,000 acre tract and I didn't hear or see a hen or gobbler :OGani:. Last spring I saw 14 gobblers in one day, I hope things improve in 2 weeks.
Good luck guys! Can't wait to hear some reports. Six weeks until it's go time for me, 8 weeks until Ohio opens.

We left for vegas last Thursday and I hadn't seen more than 1-2 birds here and there. I took the kids to school this morning and saw a flock of 14 and a lone strutter later. I think they are just now moving into their spring areas.

Here in central Ms they have been gobbling since the middle of February. I would think on the coast the would be really fired up. And all over the place. Spring is almost 3 weeks early here. I know that doesn't have anything to do with the breeding cycle but I'm almost positive it doesn't hurt it either

Spring is way early here too. It was warmer here than when we were in Vegas. Up until today I had barely seen any birds in their normal spring places. Today makes me think they are moving there for sure.

We don't open until April 10 here in Arkansas. Soooooo late. Makes for a tough season when you couple it with low numbers
I seen where Antarctica had records highs last month, something like 63.5 that is crazy

My sons youth season starts up the last weekend of March. Had seen a few gobblers about 3 weeks ago, but haven't seen them for awhile. This early in the season we usually don't have many where we hunt, but about mid season there usually show up pretty good so we will see what happens.
Man, some of you guys are starting up it getting close, ugh.. I have over 3 weeks just till our youth season starts and I can take my lil brother. 5 or 6 weeks till I start hunting. I'm getting anxious!
I've got 2 (work days) until I get to go. Weekend days don't count but those workdays are loooong thinking about getting out.
