30 minutes into opening day and my tag was filled. I called him in from a 100 yards away and took the shot at 35 yards. He's a pretty nice tom at 21 1/2 lbs. with a 9 1/4" beard and 1 1/4" spurs. Now I have to help my brother bag his bird.

No, it was a stiff bird. We had a chance to harvest more than one bird that day so the pictures were taken several hours later. He had been stored in a harvest bag and the neck stayed kinked. I'm not one for too many picutres anyways.
