My pattern using .676 original Star Dot choke Federal TSS 3 inch 1 3/4 #9 40 and 50 yards. What are you guy's opinions? Thanks

Bowguy

Welcome. It won't download but my opinion is that you wouldn't need tss in that gun. Be advised I know it's only a pattern thing but we don't mention shooting past 40 yards at a bird according to forum rules.

Looks like a flopping bird to me, good pattern!
The bird possesses a remarkable ability to turn arrogance into hopelessness.

Looks like the 40 yard pattern isn't centered.  Should be moved left unless you pulled the shot.  Have you shot a dove load at 12 to 15 yards to get POA/POI.  My 835 shot 3" low and 3" right so I put a red dot on it to correct that.  With the Stardot (great choke for the 835) and 3 inch #9's that 40 yard pattern should be tighter.  I would suggest deep cleaning and polishing the barrel as well as checking POA/POI.  Will those patterns kill with TSS absolutely but they could be better.  My 2 cents.
