Title: Conditioning Frictionite
Post by: MS Turkey Chaser on April 22, 2019, 04:18:57 PM
I purchased the Primo's foggy bottom frictionite pot call earlier this year and I am having a tough time running it. Any tips as this is the first frictionite call I've bought?

I assume it's like ceramic.  Try wiping the surface down with an alcohol pad then allow it to dry.  If it still is having a hard time then try using a conditioning stone.  Also touch the tip of your striker up with 220 grit sandpaper. Hope this helps.

I just use a scotchbrite pad.  I've got the same call and it actually sounds really good for a store bought call.
