Do any of you hunt with a really unique turkey gun? Something rare? Something very old? Something odd?

Let's see your unique guns.

This is my customized Yildiz TK12 single shot: limbsaver pad, forcing cone work done, threaded, .680 colonial choke, drilled for scope mount, bushnell 1.5-4x32 scope and rattle can paint job.  Have added a strap since photo taken.  Weighs less than 5.5 pds and is a joy to carry.  Shoot 3", 2 ounce TSS 8s or Fed HW 7s x TSS 10s.  Each will put an even 20" pattern on paper with around 230-280 in 10" at 40 yards.  Bought it stock at local Academy Sports several years ago for around $110 then poured on the customs.

I sometimes use my great-grandpa's Browning Auto-5 manufactured in 1936.

The only picture I could find was from a very slow dove hunt. lol

I have a rare gun from Winchester...

SX4  Field Compact Wood Grade in 3.5 chamber. I have called Winchester about it and they have no idea how I got that gun. Was bought from local guy still brand new in the box. Check the website they have never made one in 3.5 nor currently make one.
Barrel is stamped and receiver is cut for a 3.5.

What load you shooting in it? I have several old M12's (4 -12ga, 1 -16ga, 1 -20ga) of my dad and grandad's in the safe. They haven't been shot or barely handled in years and every time I open the safe I think about taking one out on some hunts under the right conditions.

I use an old savage model 24 with a full choke barrel sometimes. Works good for snakes with the 22 barrel on top. I get 80-90 hits in the 10 at 40, with the Browning(winchester) tss #9s. I try to limit my shots to about 35, but wouldn't hesitate to shoot a step or two past.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190223/65988f11799d6fec953b15981dea3417.jpg)

Marlin 5510 10ga. Goose gun. Barrel cut to 22" and threaded by Rob Roberts. Dipped in Mothwing Spring Mimicry. Will kill at 82 steps.

Nothing unique for spring hunting except maybe my Knight TK 2000.  Now for fall hunting here in Pennsylvania I use an early 1970's vintage Ithaca/Tikka LSA 55 Turkey Gun.  O/U 222 Rem/12 Ga. I have a Leupold VX 1 2x7 scope on it.  I have taken fall birds with both the rifle and shotgun barrel. It gets a lot of looks and comments from other hunters I run into in the woods.
