Great bird and a great story! The article might have some erroneous information. It states that the gobbler was sporting .375" spurs. I trust that this is a mistake. 1.375" maybe?

3/8" spurs has to be a typo. Friggin hoss though. Don't think I would have been worried about spurs if it were my shot

He posted on a local forum here in TN when he killed it, and I'm pretty sure it had 1 3/8" spurs. I tried to look up his post but couldn't find it. Either way, he's in the book with a great bird.
