Title: First hunt for my GSP
Post by: Browning87 on October 23, 2021, 07:37:17 PM
I got to take my 11 month old short hair on his first hunt this morning. I guess all the hard work we put in the last 6 months is paying off! Super proud pup dad(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211023/3f0a7c9459ead421a17f66d859f4884b.jpg)

It's so much fun! We don't have wild birds here in PA but even the stocked birds are a blast. And I get to make some good memories with my old man!(He needs to brush up on his wing shooting)

I wait until I have a few then bread them and fry them just like I do turkey breast. They are delicious!!

Even with an ugly dog, when they're working good it makes all your effort worth it; but as a bonus he's also very nice looking. Great pictures.

Great pictures, Favorite thing to do, hunt up land over a good dog, thanks for sharing. Had to put mine down year an 1/2 ago. Miss her, my best friend. Hunted stocked birds on state game lands, but birds survived multiple years, swamps hard hunting.
