Title: NC opener Weather - 2 yrs in a row
Post by: WNCTracker on April 06, 2017, 04:40:18 PM
Anybody remember last year's NC opener?  In NC it was about 28 degrees, snowing, with 30-50 mph gusts.  Snow tonight and Saturday morning's windchill forecast is in the mid 20's with 10-20 mph winds.  Looks like it gets better as the day goes on though  :christmaswindow:.

Dude, that sucks.  Last year in Michigan the first week of April never got above freezing.  By tomorrow morning we're supposed to have 1-2" of snow on the ground.  Then 70° on Sunday.  It would be nice to just stay warm for a couple of weeks to get these birds going!

Good luck.  Hopefully the weather improves along with the hunting.

It's been in the 60-70s for weeks. Go figure. I personally love the cold but not sure whether it puts gobblers in the mood for love....
