Turkey Guns / Re: As 12ga goes, anything out...Last post by 10th Legionaire - Today at 07:37:29 AMI'm another 870 fan boy. I've got six of them in various set ups right now. They all shoot lights out and are as reliable as a bag of hammers.
I have not held or shot any of the post bankruptcy ones but have heard good things as above. He could either go that route or find an older used one and tart it up the way he likes. As for the Nova I've never shot one but have held/shouldered a couple and they just don't blow my skirt up. I don't care for the looks (personal opinion that is totally subjective) and they never felt good in my hands and didn't come to my shoulder right. Whatever he winds up with hopefully it makes him happy and gets him hunting.  #7

Bottomland OG- Ive never had that problem either, although Ive never owned or operated a Franchi. Learned the hard way years ago that easing the bolt closed in an attempt to be stealthy results in a stealthy "click" though. This is definitely a different issue, the bolt seems to hang up before making that last quarter turn into battery. Ill melt the barrel this weekend see if it starts acting right. #8
