Title: cheapest place to buy chufa
Post by: Newtgallapavo on May 11, 2014, 10:33:38 PM
I am thinking of designating a portion of my large food plot this year to chufa and was wondering where the cheapest place was to buy it? any other suggestions from you guys that have planted it before would be helpful too as I haven't ever tried it. I have heard it works best in sandy soil and I have a spot that would work for it I think. when to plant and what ph or soil condition ie fertilizer would help to.....thanks in advance

where are you located, and how much seed are you looking to buy?

Go to your local grain elevator and have them order it for you. So far for clover, buckwheat, oats, and milo they beat any place that sells "wildlife" seed.
