Everyone wants to be and eat like us here in the south. Lol, we eat it 10-15 times a summer. It's great, leave the shrimp in the pot with the rest, don't take it out like the recipe says.....that's some kinda yankee'd up recipe. Lol

Also dont cook the corn that long. If you drop it in a boil like this the corn goes in with the shrimp. Too many folks in the south over cook corn on the cob.

I agree, your corn should be the last thing to go in and for no more than 5 minutes......good call, think I'll go pull 6 ears of silver king to eat tonight!

Also try different sausage for preferred taste, hillshire is good but I like the roger wood sausage if you can find it.
