What are your favorite TSS loads for the 28 gauge?

The apex 9.5. Tested penetration and it right there with #5 lead.

That's a hot mess rite there! What's the constriction on that Briley's choke? 0.5XX?

Best I can figure is .518.

.545 bore - .027 (briley XF) = .518 if bore size is correct.

Most constriction that I could find for an optima HP 28ga last year..

I got a Briley XF, it mics out at .523. I shot it with #9 TSS reloads and it is great. I am not a pellet counter, but at 30 yards the 10" circle was peppered. Actually only a few pellets outside of 8". I am satisfied with the results and this will be my Grand Slam gun. Counting down to the day when it will be a reality. Thanks for all the info. Al Baker

What exactly is the Hals xl load?  Is it a reload and if so where can you find the recipe?  Looking to buy a 28 gauge and looking to shoot turkeys with it.

Hal Abbott. He sells TSS to do your own hand loads. It's one of his loads. You can find him on Facebook and I think on here as  maybe
