Just wondering what everybody's favorite aluminum pot call is. I've played with a few and only liked one, a lightsout green anodized aluminum. Never should have sold it. Anyway, I don't care for raw aluminum, too unforgiving. What are your preferences?

Lonzo in a acrylic pot
X2 on the Lights Out Anodized call. It is my go to call. Has made many a gobbler make a bad decision.
I will order another call this summer for my sons birthday...
Darrin Dawkins Stoned Aluminum in acrylic pot. The stoned aluminum really bites with the Dymondwood striker that comes with it.

Anodized, blasted aluminum is also and option.
I know it's not the most expensive but I've had a ton of luck with primos alumislate. Can't count how many birds I've shot with that call. I use the acrylic Stryker it came with and it works well for me. First call I pull out every morning.
Al Hobart,of Enticer Turkey Calls has an aluminum pot made of Corian, and its a screamer. My meat call, gobblers love it.
I love the sound of all the different aluminum's but I think the green grips the best. Gooserbat's high standard aluminum seems like it's a blasted aluminum that grips very well also
Plain raw aluminum is my favorite.
Another vote for Lights Out anodized aluminum. Paired with a purpleheart striker, it's probably involved in 80%+ of my calling. I like it that much.

X2 !
This year I've been using ProfessorWingbone's Fred Cox raw aluminum in a corian pot. It's about half the thickness of a normal pot but has all the volume if needed.
Roger Parks raw aluminum
never use an aluminum pot any more, but my Winco AXHB 24 served me well... :funnyturkey:
Not a aluminum fan at all. The best ones I have played is the Jimmy Schafer Atomic 13 and Paul Platz cherry. I just do not care for any metal pot calls. They have that metalic sound that I pick up on. I have no doubt they are some killers but its a personal thing with the way they sound to me.
I like raw aluminum but the best two I have are black anodized. #1 is a Lonnie Mabry Asian Cedar and #2 is Dawkins Walnut.

Funny enough. I was in South Dakota this morning and hit the crystal call. No response. Was about to walk down the road and literally thought about this thread probably because I also love my aluminum calls. Took the old al holbert call in a tiny corian pot out of the vest and he cut me off on the first pop of the pot. I ended up killing him about 10 minutes later
Al Holbert Enticer Calls.
I've never liked metal calls either. But I'm going to give Copper pot from Yingling a try in off season.
Hanks Game Calls Aluminum in a Padauck pot is a good one for me.

Al Holbert Enticer Calls.
Enticer Silver Thunder Extreme Aluminum is one of the best calls I've ever had. Called in lots of very wary, suspicious, difficult gobblers with it. Use the corian side when they start coming in and get close. This 4 bearded bird would shatter my state's record if I entered it in the NWTF book. When I got it the gobbler would have been #31 in the whole country record book. I gave the beard to Al.
