Title: something I worked on this week
Post by: mspaci on March 11, 2016, 09:08:42 AM
This is an idea I had & finally made one. The finish is a little rough, but its just a proto type. It has a removable baffle that you can play totally in or out or at different lengths. Like a trombone. Walnut call, mahogany bell & lip stop. I like the stop on the outside like this. It has a solid feel & makes it easy to put the latex on in the same position each time.  Mike

great looking call. I'm very new to the tube call but i really like how they sound. Can you explain what the baffle does ? Is it just to quite the call or is there another reason for it ?

Thank you, Gerri

cool tube caller, the baffle works like a restriction device in a tube call, this means you do not have to apply so much air moving through the call for softer more subtle calling, hope this helps your question...pappy
