Title: Clean verses dirty

All I can say is WOW.
After 3 turkey loads and 5 trap loads

Bore snaked 3 times after the above pattern.

Big difference. I think some of the issues I have had today with patterning may be from a dirty bore. Going to scrub it up good tomorrow and start over. I am thinking I will clean after every 3 shots alternating different loads to give them all a fair shake.

I was surprised at the difference being that large. When your shooting 4's  loosing 50+ pellets from your pattern is a pretty big deal.
When I'm serious about patterning, I start off deep cleaned and run the snake 3x right after the shot. Seams to clean up better with the barrel a little warm.

Wow, what a difference it makes to have a clean barrel. I guess it is not just a hype. Good luck.
