Title: Tail Feathers
Post by: cracker4112 on May 11, 2011, 05:46:46 PM
Lovett--

I shot a mature gobbler in Florida this spring that had two tail feathers that were barred like wing feathers.  Just wondering if this is common?

If I knew how to post pictures I would!

Thanks.

cracker4112,

It's very rare.  I have seen one before.
