I've killed 8 gobblers this season I only kept the 2 from Louisiana to eat. I never had any trouble finding someone that will take the meat. Keeps me from having to miss hunting time looking for ice machines etc. The meat is very low on my list of reasons I hunt turkeys. I'd never waste the meat from one but I'm not going to extreme measures to bring 2 pounds of meat home when I can find someone that will use it locally.

Briley's does great work as well. I'm not an engineer but I think it may need additional work besides chopping and threading. Lengthening the forcing cones would be needed I think as you are changing the configuration. That's why you need a smart person to do it. I would probably try to find a compatible barrel to cut or be a backup, If I wasn't 100% sure of the outcome.

Brileys might be the way to go
They cut down my mag 10 many moons ago and they did an awesome job

Call Making / Copper source

New here but have enjoyed reading for sometime.   I'm just getting started into call making so bear with me.   

Besides Brookside Shipley's and eBay, is there a good source for copper sound boards and tops ?
